You Need A Few Dinners with Your "Lurking" Cousin Too

You need a dinner with your cousin too. You'd meet at Grace's. She's working on what you've been working on for the last 3 years. A tiny house development. You've been taking classes on construction, planning and financing. You tell her tiny homes are the future. You have dinner and lay out your plans. You tell her this was your father's dream in 2012. But in 2012, you thought the idea was crazy. You tell her how your father said you were thinking too small. That people will want to be on the land he's on at the Talladega AL raceway and they'll want to stay in "small cabins" to fish. You don't like the idea at first. Because "pop, who the hell wants to stay in a "small cabin" in the woods. He tells you to go online and get the vision. He tells you he's sending you some brochures. He's been calling people. By 2018, you get the vision. Your dad has been gone for a few years. But you declare "he was right."

You finish your dinner excited. Its 10pm - you're home. And your stalker is too. He's outside just finishing walking his dog- again.

She calls you a few weeks later and wants you to come work for her. She calls you a visionary. You don't like the idea of working for your own intellectual property. You're solid on your one cardinal rule. To never work for your own ideas.
